SO PDD RITE

Basically he's just beginning to recover from the little coma he fell into shortly after his tussle with Mallki. He's sort of around, but isn't really properly self-aware yet -- kind of like how Rally was inside PDD in his first couple months at the other DR. Except PDD is still a crazy powerful presence that can brush Rally's personality aside with half a thought. Whoops.

In that thread Rally had with Chimera!Yuusei he showed up like that. He's not really aware enough to distinguish himself from Rally yet in his own head, but Rally knows what's going on and is kind of creeped out by it.

SO, PDD probably won't show up at first except if Yuusei-as-Rally finds himself in some kind of peril, but eventually PDD will wise up to the fact that whoever's driving this body around it isn't Rally, and shit may go down :3

Also, on the flipside, what can Rally expect from being in a body with an electro-whatever being hanging around it?

Well, Stardust will be able to sense the change soon enough. Stardust is an EM-being, so he can sense the electromagenetic "aura" of most things-and he can tell the difference between each human's ones. He can sense the part of the aura that's due to the human's unique genetic patterns, but, because he's a living mass of EM waves, he can sense the electromagnetic waves that differ due to the "personality" or soul directing them. So he'll have a solid/not solid dragon pestering him about why your aura changed.

EM beings can fuse with whatever human they want, however, it's hinted in both the games and anime that a person who matches their "wavelengths" will get the best, most efficent results. However, if a human is willing to open their heart to him, Stardust can force a transformation. So, if Rally is willing, they can fuse into some kind of "Ryuusei" warrior, but he won't be as powerful, and will be prone to randomly de-fusing.

Other than that, Yuusei's just a regular, normal human being with above-average resistance to Noise and a tad more tolerance than normal from dealing with a hyperactive alien.

So, exactly what kind of shit will go down between PDD and Yuusei? XD

Anyway, shit going down = PDD tries to take over Yuusei-as-Rally's body (maybe only partway succeeding?) and go rampaging half-cocked around town AND/OR PDD pulls Yuusei inside of his mind/into his scarscape-inner-world-thing so he can demand to know who he is and where's Rally.

... This actually could dovetail with an idea I had about the reason PDD's been having trouble is because of some kind of "seed" or something Mallki left in him. If that would be cool with you?

Ohay also if you are wondering how PDD-presence would react to DS!Rally, or pretty much any other DS for that matter:

General uneasiness and irritability, not very noticeable if they're far off but more pronounced if they gets closer. His marks will react if they get within ten or fifteen feet ish. If they get anywhere near touching the marks will flare and Yuusei may find himself involuntarily trying to hit or shove them away.

DS Rally might comment that this isn't how PDD used to be like around him, which is true; PDD's kind of running on reptilian brain right now and can't be arsed to distinguish one DS from another.

At this stage in the game PDD probably wouldn't come out himself unless Yuusei-Rally's life seemed to be in danger or some such.

So yeah, feel free to play out PDD's generalish reactions to things but if you're not sure just drop me a line here and I can cook up some more TLDR :3

Hurrrrrrrr in my infinite not-paying-attention-to-the-date-ness I just realised the plot ends like tomorrow. ~~Although that doesn't mean the threads can't go on forever and ever and~~ The probably means if we wanna do shit-goin'-down with PDD we should start it pretty soon :D;;

So how do you wanna do it? Yuusei/PDD has some kind of breakdown and then Rally/Stardust has to transform and chase him down and then at some point Yuusei gets headspace'd into meeting inner-PDD, or something?

I was planning on having Yuusei suggest that if it was a double of his that triggered the initial fight, would his presence awaken something (ie: Mallki's seed) within PDD since he's a double of that person, and that could trigger it.

Aha :D In fact what would probably trigger it is PDD realizing that this person =/= Rari, but Yuusei's misconception is pretty close and amounts to the same thing (that is, his presence would awaken it.) And Rally might even agree with him, since HE is under the (correct but only partially so) impression that the reason PDD never told him what happened inside the tree is that PDD had to kill Yuusei. Which he really really would rather not think about too hard.

Oh also: since me having a thread with myself would be pretty dumb, let's say even when PDD goes crazy his control over Yuusei isn't complete since the seed has been eroding his mind further and/or Yuusei has a much stronger will than Rally does. So maybe Yuusei could be having a crazy voice in his head/ridiculously strong compulsions punctuated by bouts of "OH GOD BODY MOVING ON ITS OWN."

Speaking of which, when Yuusei and Stardust denpa-fuse-whatever, is it just Yuusei in control or do they have some kind of symbiotic thing goin on?
